Method: what we add to the raw data
- The 16 land-use classes were translated into Arabic, and each polygon's area computed in hectares on UTM.
- Every polygon, school and health facility was linked to one of 111 neighbourhoods with Arabic and English names.
- For each neighbourhood, the share of each land use and the counts of schools and health facilities were computed.
- The 2004 census population per neighbourhood was summed from a differently divided neighbourhood layer by location.
- Health facility types were translated, and redundant duplicate school fields were dropped.
