Method: what we add to the raw data
- Interactive map services were converted into downloadable, analysable layers with ordered, named fields.
- An explicit offshore flag was added, since a large share of wells and concessions lie offshore in the Gulf of Gabès and the north.
- Every onshore feature was attributed to its governorate, delegation and sector.
- Concession type and status were translated into Arabic alongside the French original.
- Dates were converted from raw numeric storage into readable dates, and pipeline lengths computed in a metric projection.

- Concessions are points with a numeric area, not polygon boundaries; the source does not publish boundaries.
- Expiry dates are as recorded and some have passed; they do not alone indicate current validity.
- Exploration permits are not included; these are exploitation concessions.
- No facility of a security or military character is published here.
